Give Me More

Even a kid, so nascent, knows it all
despite nature coercing him to crawl,
Conscience lurking beyond the horizon
emotions within, though, stand a tall.

Emotion’s something he need not earn
inherent, it escorts him at every turn,
And he knows what love stands for
long before it’s spelling does he learn.

Gradually, he grows amidst love and affection
enriching knowledge by brain’s cultivation,
When one fine day, love beats his acumen
and no lexicon offers him the correction.

Love, the word he felt, he knew
evades his mind, poor pilot-less crew,
He is forced to be a silent spectator
while love enthralls him, perfuming milieu.

With love at the steering, as the guide
life starts afresh, with ardor hard to hide,
Impediments slither away on their own
as love leads in all its glory and pride.

Love is too sophisticated to explore
too intricate to get to its core,
The panacea for patients of love my dear
is to feel the bliss, and ask for more.
