They say when it comes to heart and mind,
Its always the former that pays in kind;
For the tussle between the two,
Asks for more than a rational crew.
Often the quandary grows beyond repair,
When heart can do nothing but stare;
Mind excels, forcing heart to bend,
The winner takes it all, in the end.
Not always does the triumph, however,
Lead us to the alternative that’s clever;
Mind resembles a bull, totally blind,
Ever digressing, before the goal it can find.
Let not your mind ever rule over you,
For it always misleads in the jobs you do;
Listen to your soul before each decision you make,
As soul rules conscience, which keeps us awake.
Soul, the true self, the actual you,
Believe me, has powers beyond view;
As, its not just a fragment of the God,
The soul is the Almighty itself, take my word.
The lesson “put your senses under control”,
Make the mind accomplish its role;
The role assigned by none but your soul,
Lending it vision for enlightened stroll.
